Although the latest mobile phone operating system from Microsoft is yet to be released, it has impressed quite many in the media. There has been information about many mobile phones that will be featuring this platform. A new Samsung mobile phone, the GT-i8700 has just got some of its pictures and details leaked on the web.

The Samsung GT-i8700 seems like a glossy surfaced, sharp edged, black handset. It is expected to be a full touchscreen phone, with no physical keyboard. There's indication of the presence of an 8GB internal memory and a camera with LED flash. Other specs are bleak at the moment.

The Windows Phone 7 is supposed to be built from scratch, with touch-centric abilities. It has been crafted to take on the likes of Apple and Google platforms. Pocket-lint reports that this new mobile platform will be released on 11 October 2010. Windows Phone 7 phones are expected to start shipping later on in the month.
