To the utter disappointment of many onlookers, Samsung has announced that its 'Galaxy S3' smartphone will not make it to the 'Mobile World Congress' of the month.
However, for the benefit of the curious fans, desirous of having a glimpse of the phone, successor to 'Galaxy S2', one of the most popular phones of all time, the phone will be shown during the first half of the year 2012 at a separate event to be hosted by Samsung.
The South Korean company informed that it would have been pleased to exhibit its new products at the MWC, but those wanting to see Galaxy S3 will have to wait.
Samsung's decision is not without reason. MWC will be flooded with latest products from almost all manufacturers worldwide. Some of them will steel the show rather than the Galaxy S3 handset. Samsung does not want such an embarrassment.
In fact, Samsung is following Apple's footstep in the matter. Apple is against showing its products at trade shows. In stead, it unveils it during the press conference initiated by
itself. That will ensure the simultaneous attention of the whole world on its own products. That has its good results as well. There will be exorbitant sale from the first day itself.
Samsung's decision seems to be right and prudent.
