Samsung's Plates Seem To Be Full

There's plenty of hustle-bustle in Samsung's arena. The company has been quite busy with developing regular mobile phones, high-end smartphones and iPad rivaling tablets. And their hard work seems to have paid off.

Samsung Galaxy Tab

At the IFA 2010, being held in Berlin, Samsung had on display, their new tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab. This device has a 7" multi-touch screen and it runs Google's Android 2.2. It can do almost everything that the iPad can, and much more too. There's entertainment, internet access, gaming and eBook reading, on-board. The user can even make voice and video calls. A 1.3MP webcam is present for the video calls. Then again, there is a 3MP camera for capturing pictures and videos. Being Android 2.2 based, this tablet supports Adobe Flash 10.1 too. A very light weighted device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab can be very easy to carry along as well. It is expected to be available for purchase in October. Prices are yet to be made known.

The Samsung Galaxy S mobile phone, that was released recently, has also been doing well in several international markets.

The company also announced at the technological fair that, there will be a Galaxy Tab 2 and 3 in the future. The other interesting announcement made was regarding Samsung mobile phones sales targets. They had initially estimated 18 million units for 2010. However, the response from the consumer crowd seems to have been overwhelming. Hence, Samsung has re-estimated the sales figures and set the target to 25 million handsets.

Therefore, on the whole, Samsung's plates seem to be full.
