The acting chairman of the Communications Consumer Panel, Bob Warner said that it was more crucial than ever to entice the elderly people in the United Kingdom to use the internet.
Warner noted that the fresh research findings compiled by the research agency, Digital Unite on approximately 80 per cent of individuals belonging to the above 55 age group believed in getting access to the broadband has boosted their lives.
The expert further stated that digital participation along their communities, beside the wealth of economic advantages it brought was important to the future of the welfare of the United Kingdom.
