Sharp 3D Smartphones - Expected Right in Time for Xmas
Sharp, the Japanese Television and mobile phone brand is planning on releasing 3D smartphones into a worldwide market by the end of this year.
According to Sharp, no 3D glasses will be required for using these smartphones. Sharp has already supplied 3D screens, which do not require 3D glasses for the Nintendo 3DS. So the company is not new to this kind of technology. 3D mobile phones are already available in the Japanese market as well.
A spokesperson for Sharp also mentioned that the Sharp 3D smartphone will have a 3D camera built into it.
An intriguing aspect is the operating system that will be employed. Will it be the Android or the Symbian or anything else?
The release of these phones will be crucial for Sharp, as they have already had a bitter experience with the Microsoft Kin, which had a very short life in the market.
