Smart phones help shoppers go mobile
The people in the United Kingdom are increasingly using their smartphones to do the shopping. This has been discovered by a research.

According to the research carried out by ResearchNow, which polled 2000 consumers in the United Kingdom more than one out of ten Britons used their smartphones to purchase things such as music and books, while another 10 per cent used their smartphone to compare the rife prices while at a store.

It was also revealed by the research that the people who compared prices this way surged considerably among the consumer group that earned more than 70,000 an year. Londers had been picked by the research as the most likely customers to check prices while at the store.

The director for research at Experian Hitwise, Robin Goad said that mobile commerce was growing at speedier rate in the United Kingdom than ever before. He added that the new generation smartphones after instances of false starts currently provided user experiences which were leagues ahead of anything witnessed in the market before.

It was also found by the research that people were increasingly resorting to social networking websites such as the Facebook and Twitter on their smartphone for getting active feed back on a purchase while they were at the store.
