The Sony Ericsson smartphones - Aino and Satio that had seemed like little power houses, packed with features, had failed to live up to expectations.

The Satio was reportedly sluggish and froze during operation. The UK retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U had stopped sales of this mobile phone, owing to numerous customer complaints.

ITProPortal reports that Sony Ericsson have now fixed the issues of these mobile handsets and have released new firmware for both of them. The Sony Ericsson is supposed to have become more stable. The Sony Ericsson Aino is supposed to have undergone treatment for better GPS, WLAN and Bluetooth abilities. Even power consumption is said to have reduced. A new game called the Loco Roco is also made part of this handset now.

Phones 4U have put the Satio back on their shelves now. Carphone Warehouse is yet to resume sales of the smartphone. Even the Aino is said to have got back to the stores.
