Sony Ericsson Xperia Play launch delayed by O2
O2, one of the five prominent mobile networks operating in the United Kingdom and the chosen carrier for selling the latest sensation, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play mobile phone, has reportedly stalled the launch of the phone in the country.

Originally Sony Ericsson Xperia Play mobile phone, which is a gamers mobile phone, was said to have a launch on Friday.

Nevertheless the launch of this mobile phone in the markets of the United Kingdom seems to have stumbled on some blocks. According to the mobile phone carrier the reason for the set back has been a software problem at the Sony Ericsson work place.

The testing team chief of O2, Stuart Hibberd said that some bugs in the software had been found out by the them, which if not rectified could result in a not so pleasing mobile experience for the customers.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play combines a portable Sony Playstation and Android operating system. To address this issue O2 and Sony Ericsson would be working hand in hand. This issue was revealed during the non stop testing carried out by the firm.
