Three, one of the leading mobile phone operators in the UK have announced that Sony Xperia S, the device introduced by the company during the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, will be on its network soon.
The Sony Xperia S has a 4.3 inch HD display. The device is powered by the Mobile Bravia engine. With the 12 MP rear camera featured in the device, HD video recording is possible. Since the Exmore R image sensor technology is involved, even in poor light, clear pictures could be taken with the 12 MP camera.
Even though the camera in the front portion of the device is destined for video calling, it could also be used for shooting video at 720p HD. Fast multi-tasking and easy web browsing is also possible since the device is equipped with a dual core 1.5 GHz processor.
The head of handsets at Three, Sylvia Chind, said that Sony Xperia S has the best HD technology and the imposing 12 MP camera is the best option for those who have a flair for photography. By making use of Three's 3G network they could upload images directly to Facebook. There is also a ton of other accessories to go along with the new device.
