New specifications from Microsoft for the Windows Phone chassis
The phone users were happy at the recent release of 'Windows Phone 7.5'.

But, suddenly, Microsoft has altered the specifications of the Windows Phone. According to the company, every Windows Phone must have 3 MP camera and 2 GB of internal storage.

Surprisingly there is no mention about the CPU. Probably the manufacturer wants to use chips other than Qualcomm chips.

'ZTE Tania', released recently was noticed to have 4 GB storage. Probably that is so as a first step towards a low budget Windows Phone. Nokia and Microsoft are trying to reduce the cost of their phones so that it is affordable for more and more people.

The internal storage capacity has a bearing on the cost of the phone. But at the same time Skydrive has no problem in providing unlimited storage for pictures and office documents apart from streaming music from Zune. That means Windows Phone will be more dependant on the 'cloud'.
