Tesco reveals Android's toppling the iPhone
One of the biggest super market chain of the United Kingdom, Tesco has revealed that they had witnessed the mobile phones based on the mobile operating system of Google outselling the flagship gadget of Apple.

Whatsoever the super market giant is for the first time reporting theat Android-based handsets' sales have surpassed that of the Apple iPhone at there stores in the United Kingdom.

Tesco Mobile has also confrimed the figures that according to claims, had at the begining of 2011 witnessed a phenominal increase in sales of the mobile operating system of Google at its stores. Tesco Mobile is a joint venture between O2 and Tesco.

The flagship mobile phone of Apple had been outselling the smartphones based on Android by two to one before Christmas. Nevertheless the figures from the begining of 2011 had shown an increase in the sales of the underdog, turning the rivalry in January.

The chief executive officer at Tesco Mobile, Graham Harris said that the sales were a convenient barometer for enterprise smartphone trends and that the existed a multitude of choice in the smartphone market, as a result to which the users were driving a healthy competition between the two operating systems.
