Android operating system is being subjected to 'attack 'by 'malware' of late.

According to McAfee, during the last few months, Android 'malware' has grown by 76%. At least 40 damaging scripts have appeared. Some are genuine but others are troublesome.

McAfee, the anti malware concern, could not find any threat to the iPhone because Apple has succeeded in controlling the emergence of malware, by adopting the 'walled garden' approach.

Apart from the operating system iOS of Apple the other OS which is not subject to attack is 'webOS', probably because it is not in much use.
