The smartphone 'BlackBerry Torch 9850' has a strong presence on the CDMA networks of the USA. "But what about is presence on the GSM based carriers as' Torch 9860'.
AT&T had planned to have the phone as early as in first week of August, but things are quiet since then. However a recently leaked screenshot has prompted AT&T to take 'Torch 9860' into its hold.
This information is based on a web form, which is made use of by T-Mobile for processing trade-ins. 'Torch 9860', is shown in a list of 'possible Blackberry modals which a user may wish to upgrade to.'
But it remains to be seen whether the smart phone will be acceptable on T-Mobile. No one will ever be surprised if it starts selling 'Torch 9860'. However, it looks alike that.
The list also includes BlackBerry curve 9360, which T-Mobile is going to unveil most probably on September 14.
