
The mobile phone giant based in Finland, Nokia is reportedly making alterations at the top level, when it comes to the United Kingdom market.
The Finnish mobile phone manufacturer has according to reports, appointed Conor Pierce as its fresh managing director for the United Kingdom operations. The existing managing director Sami Lehtinen will be replaced by Pierce.
Lehtinen is expected to assume a yet to be disclosed senior role within Nokia's United Kingdom business.
Interestingly, this has been the third instance, Nokia United Kingdom is changing the managing director in six months, since Mark Loughran had left the company inlast September to take over the post of the president at Pace.
Previously Pierce had held the managing director position for both Nokia Turkey and Nokia Ireland.
Having graduated from Dublin Unversity College with a masters degree in international marketing, Pierce had begun his career at Waterfood Foods, a company based in Ireland before migrating to the telecommunications industry.
