'Research In Motion' has introduced a mobile device management system which will help firms to manage devices operating on Apple's iOS operating system, Google's Android operating system as well as its own BlackBerry operating system.

Mobile device management for tablets and smartphones running on iOS and Android and BlackBerry Enterprise Server (version 5.0.3) new management techniques for BlackBerry PlayBook tablet are combined in BlackBerry Mobile Fusion.

Alan Panezic, the vice president of 'RIM enterprise management' remarked that BlackBerry Enterprise Server technology for BlackBerry devices is brought together with mobile device management potential for iOS and Android devices by Blackberry Mobile Fusion from a single web console.

It helps the IT departments of establishments to closely observe the usage of the devices owned by the employees as well as the corporate within the organisation.

BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is being beta tested with certain organisations.
The nominations by the customers for the closed beta program scheduled to start in January are being accepted by RIM. The general availability will be by end of March.
