
Android's Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung's Galaxy S II will be launched in the first quarter of the coming year and it will be accompanied with an update for the galaxy Note too.
The news coming directly from the company throws all other rumours from Twitter's Italian and UK Samsung representatives to the wind. This was posted in their official blog by the Korean company itself.
Other than the Galaxy S II and the Note, other galaxy gadgets will go in for upgrades a little after the Galaxy S II LTE has been released. The devices due for upgrades are the Galaxy R, galaxy Tab 10.1, galaxy tab 8.9, galaxy tab 7.7 and the galaxy Tab 7.o Plus.
As per the company blog, for every upgrade model the company will make specific notifications on the information of the OS updates timetable for the various markets depending on the situation of the market and their needs of the carriers.
