The First Windows Phone 7 Series Mobile Phone is from LG
The latest Microsoft operating system for mobile phones was flaunted at the Mobile World Congress, 2010, held in Las Vegas, a few weeks back. Today, the first mobile phone to feature this OS has slid out of cover. And it is none other than LG who have developed this Windows Phone 7 mobile phone!

This LG Windows Phone 7 handset, which is still in its prototype stage, is supposed to be a wee bit thicker than the iPhone and the Google Nexus One, according to a report from Engadget. This sounds quite impressive considering how the iPhone's and Nexus One's slick structure has wooed many people. With a slider form factor, this Windows phone has a slide out QWERTY keyboard. There are dedicated buttons for Home, Volume, Camera and Power too.

Not many of the specifications of this first of its kind mobile phone are out yet. But it is said to have a 5 Megapixel camera with a flash. A headphone jack is as well supposed to be present, which means multimedia has been given attention to, in this device.

Other details on the LG Windows Phone 7 smartphone are eagerly awaited. There's no specific mention of when it will start shipping and for what price. But, we'll let you know as soon as we have updates.
