With the launch of New look Windows Phone Marketplace from Microsoft, customers can purchase Windows Phone 7 app through the website. By using the Windows Live ID account details, users can but the apps and use the credit card for payment. Now buying Windows Phone 7 apps does not require a mobile phone.

Previously Apple users couldn't buy the apps as the PC required the installation of Zune software. Purchasing of the app was not possible via computer using Microsoft and software. With the Windows Phone Marketplace customers will not require installation of Zune software for downloading or purchasing apps from their computer.

The Marketplace website is up live in the UK and the US. This website will go live globally, very soon.
