Wireless internet sharing not possible in 'Dell Venue Pro' smartphones
In the month of September Microsoft had informed that the existing 'WP7 phone' will have internet sharing facility of 'Mango', subject to the availability of fresh drivers which enable the operating system to make ample use of the Wi-Fi hardware of the phone. It was also hoped that all WP7 handsets will have the same features. But the users at the

XDA-Developers Forum informed that it may not happen.

Broadcom's 4329 chip is used in the window phones which can create hotspots. The chip is so popular that it is used even in the models that do not have the drivers. Luckily the drivers are being released soon.

Broadcom 4325 chip is used in 'Dell Venue Pro' phone. Unfortunately it lacks '802.11 n' support. There is no wireless access point (AP) mode in it for the wireless hotspot. That means there is absolutely no chance of Venue Pro to have internet sharing. However by means of a USB cable 'connection sharing' can be achieved.
