
ZTE one of the prominent mobile phone manufactures based in China, has decided to launch its new Skate smarthphone in Britain in 2011 quarter 2, although initially it was pledged for May.
No details have been outed by ZTE on the retail price of the ZTE Skate or on, which mobile network it would be launched, yet. Wu Sa, ZTE's mobile device director said at a briefing in London this morning that the new mobile phone will be launched in the United Kingdom in the running year's later half.
This, compared to an orginal announcment made by the company at Barcelona's mobile world congress of 2011 shows a clear delay by two months.
ZTE Skate mobile phone follows a successful model of the company ZTE Blade mobile phone, which has been popularly dubbed San Francisco by Orange, the leading mobile network operator.
However the new mobile phone will come as a bettered version of the San Francisco smartphone, in terms of speed and size.
The ZTE Skate mobile phone comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display of 480 x 800 pixels resolution, driven by a processor boasting of 800 MHz clock speed and has an interface in Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system.
