Acer X960 Mobile Phone
Acer X960 Windows Smartphone was one among the Acer Tempo Smartphone series that were introduced in the Mobile World Congress, 2009, held in Barcelona. This smartphone features Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system. It also serves as a route guide with its built-in SiRFstar III GPS receiver. The entire unit measures 106.4mm by 59mm by 13.7 mm and weighs 131g.

The 2.8 inches display of this Acer mobile phone features a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels. This TFT screen is touch sensitive and can display 65k colours. Widgets are provided for easy user interfacing. This smartphone also offers handwriting recognition. The processing of this phone is looked after by the Samsung S3C 6400 mobile processor which has a speed of 533 MHz. The user memory has a 128MB capacity, while the ROM has 256MB of space.

Turning our attention to the networking capability - this mobile phones supports 3G, quad band GSM, GPRS and EDGE. It is also WiFi and Bluetooth compatible. Downloading speeds of 7.2MBps (HSDPA) can be achieved too. This phone supports WAP and HTML browser as well. USB connectivity and microSD card compatibility are also offered. A 3.2 Megapixel camera with flash and video recording, is built into this cell phone too. There is a secondary videocall VGA camera as well. An MP3 player is also housed in this hand-set. Other features included in this device are games, clock, alarm, calculator, calender, voice memo, multiple-number/contact storage and handsfree. There is the Pocket Office application incorporated into this phone too with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF viewer. A Lithium ion battery powers up the unit. Acer X960 Touchscreen Mobile Phone is a smartphone, music player, camera and navigator apart from being a regular phone for calling and messaging.
