Motorola, one of the pioneers in mobile phone technology released its Motorola ROKR ZN50 Mobile Phone in the market in 2009. Though basically a 2G phone designed for GSM networks (GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900), it also supports 3G connectivity with HSDPA 2100 technology. Antenna type is internal making it comfortable to use.Weighing 143 grams, the device has been carved out in dimensions of 108.9 x 54 x 14.3 mm. The screen size is provided a massive 3.2 inches with 240 x 427 pixels and supported by TFT technology (256K colours). Call records can store up to 20 dialled, 20 received and 20 missed calls. The present phone memory is expandable up to 16GB using microSD card. Other features include messaging (SMS, MMS, Email), FM radio, games (changeable), clock, alarm, calculator, calendar, voice memo, T9 etc.
This 3.15mp camera mobile phone is fully compatible with various wireless technologies and that include GPRS (Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps), HSDPA (7.2 Mbps), Bluetooth (v 2.1 with ADP), EDGE (Class 10, 236.8 kbps), mini USB, A-GPS, and WAP. The black Motorola ROKR ZN50 Camera Mobile Phone is available with a built-in equalizer and SRS WOW HD technology. Sound alert types also include vibration mode. Types of ring tones include downloadable polyphonic, MP3 and AAC ring tones. A primary camera with 3.15 MP plus auto focus facility and a secondary VGA camera are also provided in this mobile phone. The phone can be run on a standard Li-Ion battery with 950 mAh amperage. The company specifies a stand-by time up to 200 h, talk time up to 4 h and a Music play up to 30 h.
