Nokia 5500 Sport Smartphone Mobile Phone is a smartphone primarily that also carries the tag of a sports model for its numerous tough and hard-wearing aspects. This mobile phone fits into the ‘Sports Gadget‘ cliché mainly for its stainless steel casement that strives to resist shock, dust and water. However, it cannot be possibly regarded as a waterproof device.
This mobile phone offers three different modes. Sports mode is the prime mode here that monitors the exercise levels to present the training data through its display. Other data displayed in this mode are speed, calorie burned, distance and steps taken. Though, PC synchronisation comes a bit more polished in Samsung Adidas F110 Sport Mobile Phone. Music mode is one mode that provides a quick access to the visual FM radio and MP3 tracks. This mode of the mobile phone is actively backed by its memory expansion slot suiting microSD cards of up to 64MB. There is also a 3D sensor in this mobile phone that responds to taps. That says, a single tap on the phone in music mode leads to MP3 playback, in the sports mode triggers voice feedback on tracking data, and in the phone mode leads to SMS read out.
This mobile phone flaunts a built-in camera that in its turn comes with a 2megapixel sensor and 4 x digital zoom. This camera also allows video recording in QCIF resolution. This part of the mobile phone is effectively supported by a TFT display of 208 x 208 pixels resolution and 262,144 colours. The user-interface that adorns this display is a Symbian OS. The music player of this mobile phone can play various formats like AMP, MP3, WMA, eAAC+ and AAC. It also offers AAC and MP3 ringtones.
Nokia 5500 Sport Multimedia Mobile Phone is a triband GSM device that depends on GPRS and EDGE for network downloads. WAP 2.0 features in this phone along with an xHTML web-browser for effective web browsing. Symbian and Java applications can be downloaded to this mobile phone. This mobile phone also excels in the messaging sector with a handful of Email protocols like POP3, SMTP and IMAP 4, apart from SMS and MMS. Nokia Xpress Audio messaging is an additional feature that adorns this mobile phone.
