Nokia unveiled 3 new handsets recently. Nokia 2720, Nokia 2730 and Nokia 7020 Mobile Phones. Among these, 2720 and 7020 are clamshells, while 2730 is a monoblock phone. Comparing the 2 clamshells, Nokia 7020 is a step up in features than the Nokia 2720. We shall handle in detail, the specifications of the former in this piece of article.

The 7020 model has 2 screens like the 2720 model. The internal main colour screen measures 2.2" and has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The external monochrome 1.36" one has a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels. This external monitor displays a digital clock when tapped. It produces a star-dust kind of effect when you receive a call, or fold and open the phone or when you switch on the device.

This cell phone has the largest on-board memory compared to the other 2 handsets- 45MB. It can also hold microSD cards of almost 16GB storage. SMS, MMS and emailing facilities are available with this cell phone. Web browsing is possible too with the HTML browser integrated into this device. A GPS receiver has been built into this gadget as well. Although this handheld does not support 3G technology, other 2G technologies like GSM, GPRS, EDGE are all compatible. Wireless Bluetooth and wired USB connectivity are supported too.

A multi-media player, an FM radio and a 2 Megapixel camera are built into this device as well. You can also use the headphone socket of this handheld, for listening to the music. A variety of games come pre-installed in these mobile phones as well. A  number of tools for scheduling and organising daily tasks are present too. Even access to services like Ovi for getting hold of music, games, pictures and more is offered. A talktime of almost 4+ hours is presented by the battery of this device as well. The Nokia 7020 2 Megapixel Camera Phone will be hitting the market sometime during the 3rd quarter of this year. Garbed in graphite or pink, this phone will be priced at about EUR 90.
