Nokia 7070 Prism Clamshell Mobile Phone belongs to Nokia's Prism family that is well known for its dazzling designer mobile phones, all of which comes with diamond effect casings. This mobile phone too is no exception as it comes shrouded by a black shaded casing that is highly glossed. When the clamshell is opened, a set of diamond shaped designer keys are revealed. This keypad facilitates increased tactility and ergonomics. The 65K colour LCD screen of this mobile phone is also worth mentioning here, as it comes with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The size of this display is 1.8” diagonally.
This dual band GSM mobile phone is simply a GPRS/EDGE mobile phone. The connectivity of this mobile phone is also restricted to a 2.5mm headset. The absence of Bluetooth is indeed a telling factor here. However, this mobile phone is blessed with a WAP 2.0 xHTML web browser that effectively compliments the Push Email feature of this mobile phone. Other messaging applications supported by this device are; Nokia Xpress Audio messaging, Instant Messaging, MMS and SMS. The on board memory of this mobile phone is 11MB.
Nokia 7070 Prism Flip Open Mobile Phone does not offer a built-in digital camera or a dedicated music player. Instead, this mobile phone offers a casing that is light enhanced, a dictionary, MP3 and polyphonic ringtones, wallpaper themes, colour schemes, screen savers and a voice recorder as the features of amusement. Talktime offered by this mobile phone is 5 hours and standby is 480 hours.
