Nokia N8 Mobile Phone - The First Symbian 3 Phone

The Nokia N8 Mobile Phone has got plenty of new features to talk about. First of all, it is Nokia's high-end offering after a long break. While many other manufacturers were busy making top-notch models for the market, Nokia stuck to making budget friendly, simple handsets. And now, they seem to have got back with all their might, with this recently unveiled phone.

Nokia N8 Specs:-
The New OS...
The biggest highlight in this smartphone is the Symbian^3 mobile OS that it runs on. This is Nokia's brand new, open-sourced, multi-touch proficient mobile phone operating system. This platform was announced at Mobile World Congress, 2010, held in February. The Nokia N8 is the first mobile phone to feature this OS.

Screen...
This monoblock handheld sports a 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 pixels capacitive touchscreen. It offers multi-touch ability. While you can operate it with your fingers, the package will also include a stylus (although this might be available only in select markets).

Memory...
Nokia mobile phones are quite generous when it comes to memory. This mobile handset is no exception. It offers 135MB of internal memory; 256MB of RAM; 512MB of ROM; 16GB of mass memory; a microSD card slot for up to 32GB cards.

Entertainment...
There's plenty on the entertainment front as well - a multimedia player (which supports a wide variety of audio and video file formats), FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.1 for wireless headsets, an HDMI adapter, which can be used to connect to a high definition TV, for a much better video-watching experience.
