Nokia N900 Internet Tablet is a stepped-up version of the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet. It has also been nicknamed the Nokia Rover. A 3.5” full touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels is present in this gadget and occupies its whole front panel. An accelerometer handles display orientation when the gizmo is rotated. Slide it open and you'll find the landscape QWERTY keyboard, which facilitates easy texting.
This mobile phone lets you make regular GSM calls, send and receiver SMS and emails too. Browsing the internet, downloading information is a piece of cake with this cell phone, as it supports 3G HSDPA technology. Being WiFi capable, this device lets you access the internet in WiFi hotspots. With its Bluetooth ability, wireless data exchange with other devices like your PC is made possible too. It is expected to be GPS ready as well.
Internally, this phone is powered up by the OMAP3430 500/600MHz chip. It runs on the new Maemo 5 OS. This handheld boasts a whole 32GB of internal memory which can be extended up to 48GB using microSD cards. Now that is really applaud-able! Another praiseworthy feature is the 5 Megapixel camera which sports Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and flash.
The Nokia N900 5 Megapixel Camera Tablet will be released in European countries during October 2009. USA will be getting a July 2009 release on the T-Mobile network.
