The Nokia N97 Mini Mobile Phone, introduced in the Nokia World Event, held recently, is truly a mini version of the trend-setting Nokia N97 mobile phone. This mini N97 mobile phone has a form factor similar to that of the original Nokia N97. The facade is covered by the 3.2” 640 x 360 pixels widescreen touch-sensitive display. Slide and tilt it over, to use the QWERTY keyboard beneath. This Nokia World, also saw high end handsets like Nokia X6 and Nokia X3 being unveiled. Nokia as well showed off their new netbook, the Nokia Booklet 3G.
Nokia has collaborated with the social networking website, Facebook, offering a feature called 'Lifecasting with Ovi' to directly update the Facebook account from the homescreen. Additionally, you can customise the homescreen, to include widgets of your favourite or most frequently used applications. The Ovi Store can be accessed for downloading a variety of applications and games too. Ovi maps along with the built-in A-GPS component can help you out with finding your location and befriending your surroundings. So you need not feel lost or even like a stranger in places you have never visited before.

Calls, SMS, MMS and emails bridge the gap between you and your near & dear ones. Moreover, this handheld supports 3G technology, thus, allowing you to browse the internet at high speeds. The built-in Flash player also lets you play online videos. This gizmo comes loaded with the S60 5th Edition.
A music player comes integrated in this mobile phone. A 3.5mm headphone port is present too. You can as well indulge in photography and video shooting with the 5 Megapixel camera housed in this mobile handset. There are features like autofocus and flash for helping you get the perfect shot. The highlight in the camera is the use of the Carl Zeiss Tessar lens.
Another striking feature about this handheld is its 8GB in-phone memory. There is support for microSD cards too, the maximum capacity being 16GB. Data sharing can thus be done using these microSD cards. You can also use the microUSB port or Bluetooth connectivity for this purpose.
The Nokia N97 Mini Mobile Handset is powered by a battery that can last 7 hours while talking, 28 hours for music playback and 3.5 hours for video playback. The mobile deal is set at EUR450. The mobile offers are not known yet, but the device is expected to start shipping from next month.
