Video clips of a new Nokia mobile phone being manhandled for testing its toughness are up on YouTube. A few stills from the video are shown here. The Nokia handset is supposed to be a tough phone which can withstand jerks, kicks, shocks and other forms of being rough & harsh handling. Surprisingly the phone still works at the end of the batter-up session. No news on model number, price, specs or availability are known yet.


Nokia are renowned for their rugged and tough mobile phones. Recently Amy Donna, a resident of London, had her Nokia handset undergo a complete wash in her washing machine. She was surprised to see that the cell phone worked after she opened it out and dried it in the sun.



Coming back to our Nokia tough mobile phone that has undergone a series of tortures and has emerged victorious in all tests - It is a slim candy bar phone with a regular numeric keypad. It should be waterproof too, as the videos have been taken on a rainy day. More details are eagerly awaited.
