Porsche Sagem P9522 Candy Bar Mobile Phone succeeds Porsche P9521 Mobile Phone with a welcome change; to candy bar form factor from the flip open form factor of its predecessor. Here as well, Sagem does the designing and manufacturing work for Porsche. Seems this partnership is working. This mobile phone projects a 2.8" touchscreen as its main attraction. The screen of the former model, though of AM-OLED, was just 2.2" in diagonal size. And, a touchscreen is always a touchscreen.

This mobile phone too is presented in an aluminium casing like its predecessor. Much like the P9521, this phone too sports a finger print reader. A disappointment that pops up here, is the absence of 3G communication data download feature, saying this mobile phone is simply a GPRS, EDGE phone. This part, however, is compensated to a large extent by its Wi-Fi feature that enables the user to get connected to some available wirelessly in certain hot spots. Something more that is worth mentioning here is a GPS receiver that comes built-in this device.

Sagem Porsche P9522 GPS Mobile Phone also comes with a built-in digital camera that in its turn sports a 5 mega pixel sensor. This camera can be expected shrouded by a good number of supporting features like autofocus, digital zoom, picture editing, flash, and needless to say 'Geo-tagging'. The music player that comes with this mobile phone is expected to realise a handful of audio formats such as AAC, MP3 and MIDI.
