The Samsung Armani collaboration has brought forth yet another mobile phone - Samsung Giorgio Armani W820/ W8200 Mobile Handset, their earlier stylish phone venture being the Samsung Armani Night Effect mobile phone. Hey, wait a minute! Didn't we hear that the next Samsung Armani mobile phone will feature Windows Mobile 6.5? But unfortunately (or fortunately), the new gadget is not a WinMo 6.5 handset.
Despite not being a smartphone, this handheld houses other features that add to its worth. There is a 3.1" AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. It supports 16M colours. Ofcourse, Samsung's TouchWiz user interface is employed in this phone. Then there is support for HSDPA, which allows speedy internet access. You can transfer pictures or other information to other devices, using Bluetooth. A 5 Megapixel snapper is packed inside this luxury mobile phone too. A front camera for video calls is present as well. An interesting aspect about this Armani model, is the presence of a T-DMB TV receiver in this handheld. DivX format is supported by the mobile phone also. Good quality videos can thus be expected.
