Samsung Jet S8000 Mobile Phone – A Probable Apple iPhone Killer?

First of all, this phone has a 3.1” AMOLED touch sensitive ultra-brilliant screen, which offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. AMOLED screens do not require an LED backlight. Hence this is a major contributor to the sleek design of this handset. It also helps save power; thus increasing battery life. The TouchWiz 2.0 user interface has been employed as well, which promises to give an unbeatable user experience.

Diving deeper into the technical details – An 800MHZ application processor has been used for delivering high speed performance. There is an internal memory of 2GB in this gadget, and you can extend memory up to 8GB with microSD cards. Being a 3G capable mobile phone, it guarantees high speed internet access. It is WiFi-ready and supports Bluetooth as well as USB connectivity. With its A-GPS capability, you can also get help with road navigation.

Packed with many multimedia features, this little entertainer makes a good companion during leisure or otherwise too. The 3D Media gate utility presents a 6-sided cube, which can be rolled to start a particular entertainment option. The 6 options include FM radio, music player, video player, games, internet and photo album. The multimedia players support various file formats. The Samsung Jet Full Touchscreen Phone, was recently presented in the 'Samsung Mobile UNPACKED' event held in London, Dubai and Singapore. This phone might be priced at around £500 and might be available by the end of June 2009.
