Samsung recently brought before the world their new Samsung M8910 Pixon 12 Megapixel Camera Phone. Packed in with loads of features to make photography a piece of cake, this gadget is definitely tough competition for the Sony Ericsson Satio (Idou) 12MP camera phone. This Samsung phone features a full touchscreen, making it a 12MP camera phone with complete touch capabilities. Moreover, Samsung has very intelligently enabled the use of this touch sensitivity, for clicking of clear and crisp photographs. How? Read on to find out...

First of all this mobile gadget has a dedicated camera key for quick access of the camera functions. This mobile phone can easily be put at par with the advanced digital cameras available today, as it allows capturing stills at a fast rate. When you click a picture, this handset will be ready for the next shot within 2 seconds.

The Touch Auto-Focus ability of this phone is an interesting feature that merges the touch capability of the screen with the camera functionality. When you want a particular object to be in focus, you just have to touch that object on the screen, and it will be automatically in focus, even if it moves across the screen. This handheld also boasts of a 28mm wide lens for a better capture of the scene. There is as well a xenon flash that produces a brighter light when compared to LED flashes.

Video recording with 30 frames per second is possible too. You can enjoy your pictures and videos at leisure on the 3.1” AMOLED touchscreen display. Apart from an internal memory of 150MB, there is also a microSD card slot for cards up to 16GB capacity.

Share your precious moments of life with friends by uploading them on to social networking sites like Facebook, Photobucket, MySpace and Flickr. There is a software tool called Samsung Share Pix for this purpose. The best part is this gizmo is that it supports 3G HSDPA and WiFi too.

Consumers in UK and Europe can lay their hands on the Samsung M8910 Pixon 12MP Camera Touchscreen Phone by the end of June 2009. Consumers in other countries will however, have to wait till August.
