The Samsung Shark series mobile phones bear the same resemblance with the aquatic mammal in the name, as the Apple iPhone does with an apple. The Shark series is a trio, with varying form factors and features.
The Samsung S5550 mobile phone is the most feature-rich handset among the three Shark handhelds. It is a 3.5G mobile phone which packs in social networking capabilities. This slider mobile phone is well crafted and has a metal back with fine lined patterns. A 2.2" screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels is featured. The other attractions in this cell phone are a 5 Megapixel camera with camcorder functionality, microSD card support and Bluetooth. The gadget offers almost 11 hours of talk on GSM and 5 hours on 3G networks.
The Samsung Shark S5350 mobile phone is the next in line. It is a candy-bar which lets you connect to the internet, surf, socialize with 3G speed. This handheld is slightly stepped down when compared to the Shark 5550. The screen has the same size and resolution though. The camera is a 3.2MP one and there's support for Bluetooth and microSD. The talktime that this gadget offers is 10 hours on 2G networks and 3 hours on 3G.
The Samsung S3550, unlike the other 2 Shark mobile handsets, supports only GSM networks. It is however, GPRS and EDGE ready, thus allowing one to access the internet. A 2" 240 x 320 pixels display is sported. A 2MP camera is housed within. Bluetooth and microSD cards are also supported. The talktime one can expect from this phone is about 7.5 hours.
