Dear Diary,
Today was one of the most thrilling and exciting days of my life. I will never forget this day ever. The incidents that happened are so unbelievable. I still feel like they were all pleasant dreams. Not real. But I'm so glad that I've captured them all, to re-live for ever. All thanks to my
Sony Ericsson Idou Camera Phone. You have no idea how Idou made my day.

It all started when I heard a twitter near my bedroom window. I eagerly peeped out. And the scene that met my eyes was just breath-taking. There was this beautiful peacock with its colourful feathers spread out, dancing in the garden. I have seen nothing more splendid. For a moment I just stood there awe-struck, enchanted. I didn't want to blink my eyes and lose even the smallest moment of this enthralling scene. My Idou was sitting handy on a table close by. I grabbed it and managed to capture just a single photograph, as the bird fled away hearing the neighbour's dog bark. I was quite happy as I could get a really good shot. Mother was also charmed by the exquisite still. She said that Mrs Clare, who had recently moved in next door, had a flair for rearing birds, and the peacock might have belonged to her.
Time was ticking by fast and I had to reach college. Still caught in the magical spell of the gorgeous sight, I made my way to the bus stop. On reaching there, I was quite surprised to find it unusually empty. It then dawned on me that I must have missed my college bus. All the excitement and joy deflated in a second. I pulled out my mobile phone and noticed that my friends had tried to call me, maybe to warn me about missing the bus. Since the phone was on silent mode I hadn't realised when the calls came in.
The only way I could get to college on time now, was by hitch-hiking. There were no vehicles in sight at all. A distance of 20 miles to college, no college bus, the angry looks of Mrs Norman, our Mobile Communications teacher, worried me. Then all of a sudden a distant car heading toward me caught my eye. I hoped that I would get a lift. As the car drew closer, I was quite taken aback, for it was a brand new Maybach Exelero. I had lost a little hope wondering if the car would really stop. But Lo! The magnificent car did halt when I put out my hand indicating that I needed a lift. Hurrying toward the car, I peeped in and told the driver that I needed to go to The Oxford College. The driver waved his hand asking me to get into the back seat. As I got in, I noticed that there was a gentleman already sitting in the other corner. Closing the door, I turned to thank him. The word "Thank.." had barely escaped my lips, when I actually saw the face of the man sitting beside me. My smile vanished. Totally dumbfounded and speechless, I stared at him. "Goodness gracious! Am I dreaming?" I pinched myself. No this is not a dream. I bet I let out a small scream finding myself face to face with none other than the famous Hollywood actor "Antonio Hawkins"!
I can't explain what I went through for a couple of minutes after that. Trying hard to get a control over my bewilderment, I tried to explain to him my plight. But I mumbled and stammered, unable to convey what I had in mind. However, the actor made me feel at home. He noticed and appreciated the phone that I had tightly clenched in my palm. Soon we had struck an interesting conversation about the specifications and technologies of the phone. It came to me as a pleasant surprise that he was very knowledgeable about mobile phones and the technologies involved. The
12MP camera, the
3.5" touchscreen, the
3G capability and the
video calling feature of the
Sony Ericsson Idou Smartphone impressed the actor. I also showed him the peacock's photo that I had earlier taken. His eyes twinkled as he admired the bird, the colours and how close to life the snap looked.

Just before we reached the college, I gathered all my guts and humble asked if I could click his photograph. He willingly agreed and my Idou worked its magic again, with its auto-focus, face and smile detection features. On reaching college, I got off and thanked my favourite actor. He smiled and wished me luck. I stood there watching the Maybach disappear down the road.
At college, I could hardly wait to tell my friends about the excitement filled morning. My Idou was doing rounds in the college and must have got into the hands of almost all students in the college, who wished to catch a glimpse of the actor's photograph. Everyone appreciated the clarity and in-depth detail of the photographs. "You are an ace photographer.", some exclaimed. Many of the Antonio Hawkins fans got me to transfer the photo to their mobile phones from my Idou smartphone using
Bluetooth. While some others used the phone's
USB port to transfer the photo into their pen drives. For those of my friends who did not have either a mobile phones or a pen drive, I had to spend some time in the local
WiFi hotspot to email them the hyped up still from the phone. Thanks to the 3G capability of the phone, it did not take me long to complete the tasks. Phew! What a busy day it was! But I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
My dear Diary, I also love sitting down in this cosy chair, listening the
music player or the
FM radio of my Idou, thinking about the day's events and filling up your pages with them. Thank you for all your patience. I'll see you tomorrow. Hope I'll have something exciting to write about. Good night for now. :) Trinity
