Sony Ericsson T715 Mobile Phone is a stylish looking slider, which is said to be a credit card sized device when closed. The Sony Ericsson Yari and Sony Ericsson Aino are 2 other sliders from the company. However, these 2 phones are more technology-rich than the T715. It has a 2.2” QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) display and slides open to reveal a numeric keypad. The smart desktop feature of this device helps you out with managing your daily tasks and appointments. It even reminds you of important days like birthdays, anniversaries and more, with some special animation. Torch functionality is as well presented in this handheld.
What’s impressive about this cell phone is that it supports 3G technology. So web pages and other files can be downloaded from the internet very fast. Emails can be sent and received with good speed too. You can as well send and receive SMS and MMS using this gadget. Bluetooth can be used to exchange information with other devices. Transfer of data to the PC can be done via USB also. On the memory front, this device has an internal memory of 90MB and it supports microSD cards as well.
A 3.2 Megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recording has been packed in this handset. Geo-tagging is supported too. However, the location of the photograph will be determined with respect to the base stations rather than the satellite, as this mobile phone does not support GPS. A multimedia player and an FM radio are also built into this gadget. A Bluetooth headset accompanies this mobile phone in the package as well. A YouTube viewer and 3D games add to the entertainment factor too.
The Sony Ericsson T715 Slider Phone flaunts 2 different garbs - galaxy silver with a piano finish and rouge pink with a mirror finish. The battery provides a reasonably good battery life as well – 10 hours of talktime and 400 hours of stand-by time for 2G; 4 hours of talktime and 350 hours of stand-by time for 3G. Pricing and availability are not known yet.
