This handheld is supposed to be the mobile phone maker's first handset to feature Google's Android OS (v1.6 - the Donut). Sony Ericsson describe this mobile phone as one that will give a new UX or user experience. They also boast about the intelligence of this gadget, which 'truly humanises' the way people interact with their mobile handsets.
