The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 smartphone which had been ditched by Vodafone, has reportedly got its creases ironed out. The mobile handset has now got a new firmware, video calling ability on 3G network, an FM radio and a better touchscreen interface.
Equipped with a 3.2" 800 x 480 pixels touchscreen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard, this little guy can win over hearts of both touchscreen and keyboard buffs. This is a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone, which is not so touch-friendly. But Sony Ericsson is supposed to have worked to make this better.
Why the Xperia X2 can make a good business phone....
- This handset has a special key called SlideView, which when clicked gives quick access to your mails, messages, notes, calender, applications & more. Plus there's WiFi and 3G support for speedy internet access. Staying on top of your work and keeping in touch with colleagues or clients should thus be easy. With the Xperia X2, you can as well bookmark your favourite websites; get up-to-date news; work with Microsoft Office tools; sync your calender and organiser details with your PC; and use it as a modem with your laptop to access the internet.

- This handheld is a little bundle of music, entertainment and social networking. Watch videos, listen to music wherever you go with the built-in media player. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as support for stereo Bluetooth for your Bluetooth headsets. You can even use the stereo speakers when needed. A TV out is also present in this device. So you can catch the action on the bigger screen, when you're not travelling. You have access to the PlayNow gallery too.
- Play 3D and motion games too with this smartphone. That's right! You can swing and turn the mobile phone to play the game.
