T-Mobile G1 Touchscreen Smartphone Mobile Phone or more commonly called HTC Dream is the world's first mobile phone to feature Google's Android Operating System. It measures 117mm by 53mm by 15mm and weighs 159g. The TFT active matrix touchscreen of this smartphone measures 3.2” diagonally and presents a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. This screen is capacitive. Hence it will respond to your finger touches, rather than a stylus. Haptic feedback is provided as well. It can display 65k colours too. The Home screen can be customised with the most frequently used or most favourite applications. Such applications can be dragged as shortcuts to set the Home screen. A full QWERTY keyboard is available to feed in input as well. The screen needs to be slid to the right to access it. Automatic orientation of the display on the screen between landscape and portrait happens with the phone is slid open.

Navigational controls - Talk and End call buttons, back button, Home shortcut, a Menu key and a trackball navigator are present below the screen. The Menu key, displays options in accordance with the application that you have opened at the moment. There is a microSD slot for memory extension. A mini-USB port for connecting the charger is present too. A connection to connect headsets is also available. The camera integrated into this phone has a sans flash self-portrait mirror lens.

Since this cell phone uses Google's operating system, there are Google maps, Gmail and other Google products linked with it. Support for GSM, GPRS, EDGE, HSUPA and HSDPA is provided as well. This smartphone is WiFi and Bluetooth capable too. The installed RAM has a capacity of 192MB and the ROM has 256MB of space. The QUALCOMM 528 MHzMSM7201A  processor has been employed in this phone. T-Mobile G1 3.2” Android Mobile Phone definitely seems to be easy to use and also offers a wealth of features and functionality for your daily needs.
