ZTE has introduced another handset called ZTE Amigo slider phone. This phone is also an Android smartphone. The keypad of this handset is of QWERTY type, which makes texting easy. The browser of this handset is WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML enabled and its navigator supports A-GPS reciever.

The networking features of this smartphone support 2G with tri-band GSM and 3G with HSDPA. The data standards of this mobile phone are EDGE, GPRS and 3G. The local short distance connectivity features available in this gadget are Bluetooth and microUSB. WLAN facility is also available.

ZTE Amigo mobile phone comes with a 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display complemented by 320 x 480 pixels. Accelerometer and Proximity sensors are included in this device. The texting features include MMS, SMS, Email, Push Email and IM. The call records and phone book consist of unlimited fields and entries. Photocall facility is also included.

ZTE Amigo mobile phone comes with a 3.15 MP camera at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Autofocus, video recording and geo-tagging are the supportive features included in this mobile phone. Formats supported by audio and video player are MP3, MP4, WAV, eAAC+, H.263, H.264.

Some of the other features included in this mobile phone are third party application, SNS integration, Organizer, Digital compass, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, You Tube, Google Talk, Voice memo, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, MP3 and WAV ringtones.

ZTE Amigo mobile phone weighs about 120 grams. The battery of this device is standard Li-Ion.
